Meal Time Group
The Meal Time Group
is an 8 week occupational therapy group for
children adapted from the SOS Approach. The
goals of the program include;
- developing positive associations with food
- learning mealtime routine and cues to eating
- decreasing aversions to touching, tasting
and swallowing food
- increasing the range of dietary options
The program may be
appropriate for your child, if:
- his/her diet is restricted to less than
20 different foods
- foods that are lost are not reaquired
- he/she cries when presented with new foods
- he/she refuses entire categories of food
textures
